BACKGROUND: Avondhu Blackwater Partnership CLG is the integrated
LEADER Partnership Company for North County Cork. The objectives of
the organisation include community animation, project facilitation,
project administration, training and community integration within the
remit of various funding programmes implemented.
Avondhu Blackwater Partnership CLG are seeking proposals from
facilitators for An Empowerment Programme. The Programme is
co-ordinated by The Local Development Company, funded under their
SICAP (Social Inclusion Community Activation Programme) budget. THE
PROGRAMME WILL BE DELIVERED IN MALLOW, CO. CORK.
PROJECT PURPOSE: The Empowerment Programme is specifically targeted at
women from the Syrian Community and will focus on building confidence
and self esteem with a view to preparing participants to progress to
mainstream training, education or employment.
